Damn straight! It says something about our left wing media bias when 70% of the country support the President and our cause, but you only hear about the 15% who are ignorant and don't know what they are protesting against. I am tired of hearing about the stupid protestors. All the pussys can move to France as far as I'm concerned. They're nothing but panzies over there, anyway. Bottom line is we've got a modern day Hitter that we need to deal with. Because unlike the 1940's, he's got the weapons to hurt us all. So he doesn't need an army. Just terrorist lunatics. It was one thing to let Hittler go untill he had made ALOT of noise. But S.H. doesn't need to make noise...... if we let him go, the noise he made would have been too late. If America is the only country willing to step up and nip this in the butt, so be it. The world will be better off. And the rest of the planet should kiss our ass. USA! USA! USA! :usa: :usa: :usa:

It's too bad most people don't realize "Freedom isn't free".

That file in your signature is sooooo true...... that girl is pathetic. She doesn't understand the truth and the fact that the dangers of inaction far outweigh the dangers of action against S.H. The protestors just infuriate me. Didn't anyone pay attention in history classes in high school? S.H. was murdering the Kurds 20 years ago. I think people are protesting just to be cool. Like its the "in" thing to do. They don't understand, and the way I see it, their opinion doesn't count if there's no education of the subject. Like saying Britney Spears is a beautiful singer when you've never seen the opera "Carmen". And then refusing to see the opera because you don't like opera music.

To quote from a column I read the other day:

It has become popular to say that the time to object to these policies is past. The administration would like us to shut up and fall in line, to "support our troops" by muzzling dissent.

I have a big problem with this sign:

Supporting the troops has nothing to do with supporting President Bush. I sure as hell do not support President Bush, and I support the troops in hoping Bush gets them out of Iraq as soon as possible before too many of them die.

I'm not someone who protests much of anything, I don't pick issues and make a stink about them because I have nothing better to do. Most of the time I point and laugh at protesters just like everybody else.

If Bush's goal was to get rid of Saddam the whole time, he shouldn't have tried to string along the rest of the world with talk of disarmament. It has become clear that disarmament was never the goal.

All Bush did by initially supporting disarmament instead of the removal of Saddam was make himself look like a hipocrite to anyone with enough of a sense of cynicism in them to not blindly follow the administration and assume their best interests are being served.

Getting rid of Saddam is a good thing. Bush's methods for starting this war were stupid. He's a horrible diplomat, and even Colin Powell in all of his skill can't make Bush look like anything else.

actually didn't Bush himself say that you can continue to protest and should? He should said it wouldn't effect anything :chuckles:

Here's a quote I liked:
"War never solved anything... except for nazism, communism, fascism and slavery"
