It's Friday and I'm honestly wishing I had another work day this week. I have a shitload to do, and I have to leave work early for my niece's birthday. Can't work over the weekend because I'm going with my woman to spread her mom's ashes 
I am fucking swamped and sounds like I have another week of lameness in store (including this weekend) before I'll get a chance to relax. FML.

i could tech leave work in an hour for the week since i'd be at my hours but of course doesn work that way this week. main office is having power shut off at noon for an unknown period while the new generator is installed that will cover the entire offices / servers and warehouse operations. thing is a badass unit.

i left work early yesterday, my allergies / cold was pretty bad. planned it so i still have enough sick time for another day, i don't know if i should go to work or just sleep all day to get better.

In, beautiful sunny Friday with temperatures in the upper 80's today. We're having our IT pot luck/catered food luncheon. A few of us are attending briefly for the free foodz then heading to the golf range.

Slept for almost 12 hours straight last night, felt so good to do for first time in a long time getting more than 4-6hours sleep. At work til 8, but then relaxing and going fishing tonight and Rod Run tomorrow in the mountains. I think its gonna be a good weekend.
