right side of my face is still numb from the anesthetic they initially gave me. and i just added to that with 500mg of vicodin and 800mg of ibuprofen.

plus i get three days bed rest and 5 days light duty. so im basically hanging out in my room doing nothing for the next week.

 

I had all four done at once. The top ones were impacted. Didn't knock me out, either. Nitrous and shots.

they asked me if i wanted to be out cold completely or just get a local anesthetic. i said fuck that knock me the fuck out.

 

Same but my bottoms were. Couldn't eat solid food for like a week.

 

same except it was the bottoms impacted. All they said is that they would have to crack my jaw to get em out, and I opted for the knock out. They gave me oxy 40mg and i dont remember 3 full days after that. Apparently my dad asked me how I was feeling afterwards and my only relpy was "Im so fucked up right now."

Im with this man. I was nervous as ALL SHIT and you wont believe this. I had two pulled as well ALONG with a root canal the same day...and I was at the gym that night...no joke.

I have the best dentist known to man. Didnt feel uncomfortable ONCE.

 

I'm getting of my top ones in now. So far doesn't hurt more than a normal tooth, but I am looking forward to getting a prescription if it does come up weird.

Then about 2 weeks after they ended up getting infected. I had to go to the dentist and get my gums cut open so they could drain. Hurt just as bad as having them pulled. Overall it was about a month of pain

 

Yeah, the surgeon told me my teeth would never come out and scheduled me for surgery. I disagreed with his opinion about the x-rays (they looked like there was enough room for the teeth to come out). Sure enough, 3 months later, they all came out.

My whole take on it was don't fix what doesn't hurt.
