Default What Antivirus software do you use?

I'm in the market for an Antivirus software and I've been researching PC-cillian, Norton, and Mcafree (sp?). I was reading reviews on all three but couldn't decide.

What are you all using and what would you recomend?

Norton Corporate Edition. Just stay away from McAfee... they actually MAKE some of the virus's that are out there.... and their software regularly misses virus's.

They are just there to make a buck, Norton is there to protect you.

oh... Symantec = Norton... they are the same company... I dunno which is the parent or if they just have a nickname or something.

I've used some form of Norton on all my computers for years now and have never had a virus infect any pc.

Well there was one poor system that we had setup just to test virus's on... for fun. Only took 20 mins to restore it, so we got the best at the time and played around. Norton caught everything we threw at it... F-Protect got like 5 of the 8. Mcafee would crash :doh:everytime it tried to warn us it found one, it didn't find them all and it would also just crash while not doing anything. AVG found 6 of 8. And there was some other that I don't remember the name, it only got like 3 or 8.

Peter Norton was the guy who originally wrote the software. After he became filthy rich, he sold the business and retired. Symantec kept the rights to the famous Norton brand name.
