gt3 was an incredible game, spent hours playing it, but i don't think i'll ever say a video game changed myself.

I'd say if any video game ever made some sort of impact in my life I'd say Halo.
I've meet a lot of cool people at friends house's playing halo torney's that I've ended up hanging out with and one of those friends introduced me to join the wrestling team.
Which when I joined I lost over 40lbs and my pussy game when up sky high in HS....and I'm sure that played a role at who I am today

Didn't play GT until GT3 in college, and haven't played GT4 or prologue. So GT definitely didn't change my life. The only games that might have some responsibility for life changes for me might be the Civilization series and maybe SimCity 2000.

Never owned a playstation so I never played any of them. I always liked racing games though and felt like I was missing out on some big party when GT4 was released.

Second only to goldeneye on n64. I remember I used to have a badass slammed crx. Remember how when you lowered a car all the way, sometimes the tires would pop through the hood and shit?

At that time I was working at a video game store and we had just got the Japanese version of the game. It was a good while before they released the US version. When they did, I went out and got a PS1 for it. It was light years ahead of it's time in terms of both graphics and gameplay.
