you fuck, i started the world with a 286 laptop on a 9600 baud modem. i had a apple IIC with a cradle modem before anything.

Ooh, fancy! My first PC was an AT&T 6300 with an 8086 and 128K of RAM. I only had a 2400 Baud modem back then.

My first computer was a Franklin Ace 1000, an Apple ][+ clone. Couldn't afford a modem back then.

i played spyhunter on a green and black monitor using a 5.25" floppy disk.... literally a floppy disk :exnbp:

we didnt have a hard drive or 3.5"

my 3.5" for my apple was $300, and discs were 5-10$ a pop. the machine itself was $1400
