bad analogy but it made me laugh. just because my neighbor is also so an asshole but he does stuff like: trying to kill my dog/cats, killing our lawn, etc. etc.

I think that some of you missed that this analogy is Pure Fiction. My neighbor is actually a great guy.

Thank you for all your posts, I enjoyed your reponnses.

The point of contention that spawned my analogy was President Bush's claim that it is Saddam who chose war. ( in my analogy, my neighbor's choice to die) By definition it is scapegoating. I just don't believe that anyone can force you to drop bombs on them (or shoot them). Only you control your behavior.

very nicely put...but i'm concern with the analogy of what's to come from the aftermath...

bulldoze your ex-neighbor's house to ashes, or have another neighbor move in which may be another d*ick, or just share the house with everybody else in the neighborhood???
