But I had never owned one and hadnt ridden since then. So It was easy to get the feel for the throttle control and general functions of riding, but the major differece that Im still getting used to is the counter-steering through corners at speed. Im not too familiar with the Elite moped and if you had to counter steer with them or not.
I always liked the F4i and they are cheap from what I've seen. I was told its similar to the 600rr just watered down some. Initially I considered one too but like I said, most riders are telling me that I would be wanting to upgrade after a month or two of riding especially because of my size. I found a couple gsxr 750's in the 3800-4500 range too.

I crashed my original suzuki 300 twice and still occasionally biff on dirtbikes. I just approach it with the attitude that you're going to crash so you might as well crash something cheap :dunno:

Yeah, Im only about 155-160lbs, so a 600 is perfect for my size as a starter. maybe evenutally over the years when I get bigger and more experiece I will probably move to a 750 or so.

Thats how I see it. The bike I got was from a guy in my old unit on Camp Lejeune, and it had been laid down before at 30 when a corrolla pulled out in front of him, but it was cosmetic only. I was just thinking that I will...not maybe...will lay it down sooner or later or something will happen to it. i dont wanna pay $10k for my brand new dream bike when I know it will fall. So why not just get a good starter bike for cheap, then when it falls, Im not as emotionally and financially attatched.

Just got back from a gnarly surf session at the beach. Big waves, lots of guys breaking their boards in half, plenty of pussies sitting on the sand scared to go out. Craig, Brian... you better hit it up tomorrow morning before the winds shut it down. :bandito:

Had an amazing night last night with the new gf. Gave her numerous new experiences.
Today I've been cooking. Tonight I'm going to the house she is house sitting and making homemade pizza with her. Homemade dough, homemade sauce and homemade mozzarella cheese. Only thing that won't be homemade is the artichoke hearts going on the pizza. After that we're going to :bandito: a little, watch a movie and then I'm staying the night. It kinda sucks since we both live with our parents so we're taking this weekend to our advantage.
