I was thinking an LS1 and pretty much swap in the entire Vette rear to go with it.

Buddy of mine is doing this mated to a hemi in an old Cuda and it is sick.

if i was going to go something like that it would have to be the newer one out of the ZR1

but in a 67 i'd prefer to stay oldskool and go big block, carb, and tubbed with a cage.
