why am I doomed to never complete a game?
This is one thing I really hate about the new games coming out, most are only single player or online multiplayer and no single box multiplayer support. I like sitting down with someone else and working through a game at the house. I have a neighbor who comes over and we do this quite a bit with RSV 1 and 2 and have worked through all the multi on MW2 (that was quick and dissapointing). Driving games aren't our thing and most shooters are single only now.
I really wish they would change this and start making more games single box multi capable.

Very limited selection was my point not that there were none at all.
Some games that would be obvious to have a multi on a single box are only setup as multi online or link play. There are far more that fall into this category than don't. Just walk through the game store some time and think about the titles and how obvious a multi setup would be for that title or style of gameplay...then look at the back and note online or link only.

Just picked up Mass Effect 2 last night, will play that through most definitely
Mass Effect 1 (played through twice)
Bioshock
Rome: Total War (have played through dozens of times, start a new game every once in a while just for kicks)
Civilization 4 (have played through dozens of times, start a new game every once in a while just for kicks)
Fallout 3
I typically play games all the way through if I like them at all. The only games I remember not playing through is Elder Scrolls: Oblivion because that game is sooooooo long (plus it got way too easy after I got chameleon gear to 100%), and X3: Reunion because it kept crashing on me in one particular spot and I couldn't get past it, and didn't want to start a new game.

Arkham is only a 10 hour game dude.. you shoudl finish it.
I hate games that introduce stuff as you play, because then I usually fuck things up the first time through so it makes me want to start over and know about these things from the get go so I can plan for it.
no wonder you don't finish. there's no way you can have fun by trying to do everything single thing perfect in a game. just play and enjoy, and then go back and get everything if you want.
