Default ideas for an engineering paper??

i have to write a paper for my engineering class tonight. the only requirement is that it discusses a new technology. i would do something related to the war, but they already ran the train on that topic. it has to be 1200- 1500 words. and ideas?

You could do it on the e-bomb. Electromagnetic compatibility has always been a favorite topic for me.

It's about 3-4 pages.

Do it on the new LASER system the USAF is working on for one of thier C-130 planes. It can locate, tract and blow missles out of the sky while flying. I saw it on TLC the other night.
