My sis in law called me last night telling me the home 'puter was having trouble. Since my bro is out of town he couldn't fix it, so I called her and it was nothing major.
Then I called my bro and he was like "So did you manage to fix it?" I was like "No she had to call Gateway and then they had to reformat the drive. There were multiple register errors and since the 'puter is no longer under warranty they had to charge you guys." The next thing I hear is this scream and "WHAT!!!"
wned:
Now I gotta watch my back coz bro said he was gonna get me back.

When I worked at Gateway Tech Support, they pushed call time. If you were on the phone longer than 15min and can't fix the problem, FFR. (FDISK, FORMAT, and RELOAD). It wasn't something I agreed with and I tried to tell them it wasn't right, and what do you know, look at Gateway now........IN THE HOLE!!!!! :fawk:
That's not right. Where I work they stress more on "do what it takes to get the customer working and happy" than time.
They seem more happy with taking 45 mins to reinstall some software and config it than a quick wham bam thank ya ma`am.
