Default Microsoft Outlook experts v. WTF

I dont know why it's taken me almost 3 years to ask, but here i go.

A lot of the emails I send out at work are "delivery confirmations".

So basically I'll reply to all from an older email and only change a couple things. I'll delete the old email information and alter the rest.

However, when you change the characters, Outlook ALWAYS changes the font color (default blue and arial font) and adds weird spaces and does whatever it feels like.

this pisses me off something fierce.

how do i change this setting/feature?

change the "replying or forwarding messages" font color and make sure "mark my comments with" and "pick a new color when replying or formatting" is unchecked.

Spankdu is right. I changed my reply/fwd format from default blue to my typical default black.

Spaces are because you are typing in html format, but it sends as rich text.
