jae is richer than me :dunno:

i don't know, i'm all for health care reform, mine keeps going up every year and i never even use the benefits. but the way this was done and whats going on with it. no thanks. just more free handouts going to be going out at a time when we have no money. not to mention no one is shooting straight about this shit anyways. they all saying different things and none of them are telling the truth.

yea lets make sure americans dont die bceause of no health care but lets be realistic ... people arent getting thrown out of hospitals because of bills. no one has jobs, lets fix that first

So now employers will be forced to provide insurance or they have to pay a fine of up to $700 a person. Which do you think they will pick?
Do you honestly think this increase in operations cost isn't going to have an effect in the price of products? Number of employees?
Oh yeah and we also get to pay for this with an increase in our taxes...again...during a long standing "recession" and "economic downturn".

If they spent half as much time worrying about job creation bills there wouldn't be a standing 20% unemployment rate nationwide. Way to use our fucking tax dollars and your time doing something productive you assholes

I honestly don't know where I stand with this. I don't have health insurance because as a contractor this company doesn't provide it. I've been with other agencies and they did provide it as long as the contract was longer then 90 days. I looked into purchasing insurance for myself but it was horribly overpriced so I went without it. On the other hand, I'd like this economy to get better for myself and the kids I have in the future.

Edit: Where are you guys getting alot of your info. I'm trying to read up on it more. I'm not a political person so I don't stand with any party and so forth.

jae the problem is no one really knows what's in it ... not even the politicians voting for it because A. even those pushing it have said it's not even written yet and B. they are going to change stuff in it now that it's passed.

so at this point it's hard to say what will be in it and that's why i'm so against it because the damn reform changes every week. its fucked up

Pelosi even said in house that they should pass it now and iron out the details later.

Now what kind of sense does that make?
when I make a business decision I want all the details before I sign or I am not signing jack shit, that just isn't how sound decisions are made at all.
