I have a good friend who is about to becaome one, he is swapping jobs from Death Row Guard to Probation/Parole officer because it is less stressful and better pay...go figure that one hiuh?

I did but I only actually saw him twice in the 3 years I was supposed to see him. The day I got out and the day before I moved halfway across the country.

 

it was always awkward when my friend's probation officer's would show up.

 

been on probation crew checking in. I never saw mine much either. maybe like 4 times in the year i was on.

 

This varies greatly by area. We have a division in our non-profit that works strictly with probation officers...i'll ask when i get into the office.
