Default Fallout 3 question

For those of you that finished the game and all the missions, how many hours did you log on it?

Just curious because although it is a lot of fun it seems like I have been working on it for months and it just keeps on going.

if you do the story line missions...it actually doesn't take long at all. you could spend a shitload of hours doing side quests if you want, but if you want to just finish the story...it's actually pretty short.

Oblivion, on the other hand....I spend 32+ hours playing, and didn't even touch the main story line...that shit is a HUGE time waster.

I was just thinking about this last night. I've logged like 120 hours on the game and I haven't even completed the main storyline yet...oh, and I've been playing off and on for over a year now. :eek5:

Yeah I just noticed last night I have about 65 hours logged and have done 20 side missions and just got past Vault 112 and the Tranquility Lane mission.
I honestly think this is the best single player game I have ever bought. I need to get the expansions though.

I have put in a little over 100 hours so far. I can beat the game at any time I want but I am trying to explore every area, get every secret item, and complete every mission. I should be done this week. Then it's on to the expansion packs.

After that I am starting an evil character

I am as evil as I can get h: Seems the wrong decision is the best decision in most cases so I go with it. I will probably replay the game trying to keep good karma at some point because I hear there is an alliance to be had with one of those giant mutants.

Haha same here.

Fallout 3 is a great game... but I think I prefer something like Mass Effect 1/2.

It's going to interesting to see how Fallout: New Vegas turns out.
