I swiches to decaff. that was 3 years ago.
i used to drink 3 large cups of coffee before noon.
large = 40+oz. i'd drink one while i was standing at the coffee machine (black) and wait for the machine to make another pot. then come back in 30min when I have to go pee then get another cup

I used to get those. Really bad too. I only got them on the weekend because, well on weekdays I was drinking enough coffee
trust me, quite while you can. I drink only decaff now and i'm fine on the weekends.
it took me over two years to get to that point...

trust me it's the caffeine...
i had a CAT scan done...
if your drinking for the taste (which is what I do) then decaff should be fine.
if need be mix 1/2 regular and 1/2 decaf.
