i woke up this morning to go to work, and then i hit the button to turn my alarm off. To my surprise, it beeps 4 times instead of 2...which means, somebody tampered with something. so i look around my car, dont see anything at first. then i look at the passenger side window. i see the the rubber sealing is pushed inside the window instead of being outside. looks like they did that so they could get a coat hanger in there or something. i am very scared to park at my apartment complex tonight.

what are some precautions i should take tonight. cause what is going to keep them from coming back tonight?

try to park it on a busy street maybe...with lots of light. And if you were thinking they might want to steal your car, you can always take your plug wires out or the ignition/starter fuse.

sit by your window with a 12 gauge or they'll be :driving: your car away, why didn't your car alarm go off? cuz they didn't get the door open?

Dremmel the switch for the power locks off.

maybe i'm crazy, but this acutally sounds like a good idea. is there anything else i can do about my power locks that's not so drastic tho?

id pull the ECU out and take it with me. if theyre going to vandalize and try to steal, they will try. worst case scenario, you'll still have the car. but yeah, id park it where theres a lot of lighting, take the ecu out, and call the police and say someone tried to break into your car at your complex and if its possible to have them randomly patrol the area if possible.
