I wouldn't approach the guy, but I wouldn't just stand there and watch this guy hurt other people.

 

if someone came into my office to shoot it up, i would do everything to preserve my own life first. there's nobody at work worth dying for.

 

I don't carry a gun, I do however carry multiple blades on me at all times.
If I felt my life were in danger then you better believe I would approach him, and yes if someone is clearing the office then he is indeed a threat to me.
