I'd do the same damn thing..sit on a rooftop taking shots at any American that came my way.

If I caught one I would have a choice to make...hmmmm...10,000 for this person alive....20,000 if they are dead..hmmmm.....I think I would slit their throat without a seconds hesitation.

War is brutal..ethics has nothing to do with it at all...after all where do ethics come ointo play when you are trying to kill someone?

Sadaam is far from stupid and he knows hoe to manipulate his people very effectivley...last night he was saying how great the effort is going and that there is more in store and victory was immenent(sp?) and soon to come.

Doesn't seem possible from what I see but it helps the morale of his people to fight that much more.

that's exactly the frightening part of it..these Iraqis that are firing at their will are just civilians....just cause the military has a strict guide line on war ethics doesn't mean civilians have to obey them.

 

No i haven't but members of my family have and my father served 8 years Navy and 15 years CIA....so whats the point to this line of questioning?

Regardless of what they teach you or "want you to do" decisions are constantly made on the fly and not always within "guidelines" it's a wartime situation and you are getting shot at...any means neccesary for the common good of your team members and your country.
