In. Was emailed by my Manager yesterday that was a Fwd from my VP. I basically made a decision to put something in place that would be highly beneficial and at no additional cost for our upcoming all employee meetings. I didn't bother passing it by my manager as he's never around number 1. Doesn't respond to email etc and generally highly respects me as I always run circles around most people in the dept when it comes to the work load and high level decisions/projects i manage.

Any who....we're supposed to "talk" about it today. I doubt this is coming from him but more from my VP as he turns into a puppet whenever she tells him to do something. Oh well, fcuk it.

 

day off. i need one of those guns that puts the tags back on things so i can return them

Tonight was draaaaaaaagging at work. Took the mobilizer off the shelter in the bitter cold w/o gloves so my hands were pretty heat sensitive for a few hours. Tomorrow I get to go in later than usual to work, but will be sitting through a 3-hour briefing of absolute no interest. Luckily afterwards, my coworker gets promoted and following tradition I get to punch him in both arms - going to make sure it hurts.

 

Just sitting at work passing time, I think my flooring arrives at the house today, have to let it acclimatise before I can install it. Finished staining the stairs, and I love the color - very pleased with how they turned out.
