Default Logitech WiLife & Home Security

So I decided to get a cheap surveilance system for my apt. and came across this on youtube
. I'm not necessarily worried about someone breaking into my apt. but at the same time, I want to make sure i'm covered regardless.

Looking it up, I see we sell it at best buy. Might actually pick one up today after work. It works through the electrical system so I just have to make sure my computer and this system are on the same breaker.

Anybody have this or something similar?

What's funny is how A) The robbers are eating shredded cheese, and B) They look like they have NO idea what they are doing.

we offer a similar web-based setup here to some of our customers for their stores, home grown setup a guy in IT built. it's like 120 bucks and has remote access. been thinking about getting one for my place as well. not that i need it but even sticking the cameras outside makes a thief think twice sometimes

How is it. Like you, I really don't need it. But I don't want to be left bent over if something does happen and I don't have something.

it's not like super awesome vid quality but its not a bad setup ... the demo unit i saw was operating 3 or 4 cameras. i could get the specs for you if you wanted and an actual price

i know the basics are its just a PCI card that comes with the software and the cameras are 400 lines with basic night vision capability. the software can be set up so you can remote into it and you can record the video as well
