Default Wednesday and up thread...

Morning all! I am going to be watching "Citizen Kane" in my American Film class today, can't wait, even-though I've seen this movie numerous times.

Morning. Last night was bar night. I thought I was doing good by heading out by 1115pm-ish to go home but I ended up hitting a stray dog on one of the secondary roads a few miles from my house. The road isn't very lit at night and I've got bad enough night vision but it really made me feel pretty bad.

I stopped and tried to help him but I couldn't feel his heart beating or anything so I moved him a couple feet to the sidewalk. He wasn't wearing a collar and he was out alone so I'm assuming he was a stray. What would you have done? hnoes:

Same... What COULD you have done really?

Oh and I never understood why citizen Kane is such a classic. I tried watching it at least 5 times and I never got pass 30 min.

I don't know honestly. I had a good amount of alcohol in my system too so I didn't want to hang around for too long. Being a dog owner however, I just felt bad.

I must admit i was a lil bit worried after the first period... i knew we would win but i was unhappy about the way they were playing. They need to step up their game when palying agaisnt Russia, usa and sweden.

Thought I'd have to put a new battery in. 'Check Gage' light came on, volt meter dropped, throttle became choppy and the thing died. Took forever to restart, same. Noticed I could pussyfoot it around and got it to my girlfriends home, put a charger on it, then made it back to my house. All the while the radio would turn off and on, and the needle would float between 0 and half. As it sits now it seems to be working again, but it'll just act up again.

Also, got a test done on it on the way to her place. Report said alternator good, battery good but needs charged, even though it was putting out 530 CCA when its rated at 430... Gonna bench test the alt and check the belt too I guess?
