gamers looking to buy and sell used stuff
I read a story about glyde.com on joystiq.com today and figured I'd pass the info along to guys looking to unload some games. when you normally sell a game to gamestop you get bent over and get nothing in return for credit. with this site you put your game online, and you get a ton more for your games. once you sell your game glyde sends you all the stuff you'll need to ship to your buyer. its a 10 day turn around, and the business plan is pretty solid. they compared glyde to netflix, in that netflix has almost run blockbuster out of business and how glyde could do that to gamestop.
I know I'm going to check it out when I get home, I've been looking to pickup a used copy of Red Faction Gurilla and Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2, and if I can get a copy cheap and hook someone else up instead of gamestop I'm in.

when it was started it was meant to be for books, and videos. word of mouth spread to the gamers and now they account for the majority of their business. they have eaten away at a chunck of game stops business.
listed something yesterday, sold today. i've been going through all my dvds and games seeing what i could sell. some of the dvds are priced pretty low, but i guess it's better than nothing.
