Default mother effing jury duty

So I got called for this fucking bullshit. I'm sitting here pissed off out of my mind, surrounded by a bunch of minorities, waiting for the interview hoping they don't pick me. Why can't they fucking call retired people, unemployed people, and the welfare scum?

In any case, if anyone got some creative ideas what to say to make sure they don't pick me, feel free to share.

i never mind :dunno:

get paid from them, get mileage and work still pays me my full days wages

i got called for federal once and that was nice because it was a 200 mile drive each way from my registered address so i got 400 miles mileage even though i was really 30 minutes away that week

I was summoned back in October, but luckily I moved to a new county by that time so they said "Nevermind! Sorry!"

I don't mind the jury duty. Sure it's a mild annoyance, but in the grand scheme of things getting paid your regular work-day wages while sitting in a courthouse isn't that bad. I've had it twice, but never been picked for an interview. Just sat in the courtroom reading a book for the whole morning, then took the rest of the day off when they let me go at noon.

Never been called. It might be interesting to get called one time.

I got a letter in the mail about 4 years ago saying that I had been selected for jury duty. I promptly threw it away...problem solved :chuckles:
