Default Hump Day. Dos/Tres/Dime

Good Morning. I've been asked to help assist our desktop support guys today in doing some manual labor. h: Since I'm one of the few in our dept that are eligible to drive a company vehicle. We've got to go out to where our Tech's are located throughout the day and swap out vehicle docking stations for their laptops. Long story short....they fcuked up and waited in doing this for a small group of techs (roughly 30 affected) and need to return them to Dell by the end of the week in order to get refunded.

So......lots of driving today as these guys can be spread out across our entire footprint. F'it. It's a day out of the office.

Cable guys basically (cable modems, digital vid, digital phone, etc). So I'll be meeting them outside customer homes as they arrive on their jobs.

That's cool so you do the work in their car while they work at the clients house. That's a productive way of doing it... I work for a phone company and I bet they don't do it like that at all h:

Thats what I'll be doing. My normal job is far from that, lol. Typically I dont think these guys normally follow a tech to their job either but they waited until the last minute and now need this done asap.

Home from work and doing some serious pounding in the gym afterwards. I feel damn good right now. Hopefully I can sleep more than 3 hours today because I'll be at work earlier than usual tonight to play the "catch-up-and-fix-the-extra-programs-I've-been-put-in-charge-of-that-are-ridiculously-time consuming-and-involve-lots-of-nitpicking-of-workcenter-equipment-and-materials" game.
