Is there a way to make $1k/month on the Internet?
not a week dude... a month it's a mistake.
I'm still thinking there must be something worth it for them. I'm gonne talk to my mom about translation service... I'll try to pormote her service outside of Quebec as their should be less competition. must not be alot of translation service in the USA but then again their must not be much of a demand
Still i'm open to anything any other ideas would be helpfull...

1000/month selling stuff on the internet does not = I sold $1000 worth of stuff on the internet.
so are you asking if he can make $1000/month profit (after associated fees and also paying himself a wage) or just $1000 gross profit?
could it be done sure, but there is a shit ton of hassle that goes with selling on the internet. I've done it and for the first few months me and my friend had ~3000/month in revenue. our margin averaged 25%. after about 6 month we got up to 7500/month in revenue with same margin. we got to a point where we couldn't grow anymore without spending some serious cash. also we were spending 50% of the time addressing various issues with shipping errors, complaints etc. that's 50% of the time we were spending not making money. oh and did i mention we were working 12-14hrs per day M-Sat.
I would imagine it's even more difficult to do it in Canada than in the US where there are a lot more customers.
