yeah i thought about that too... but most call center are in the bigger cities like somewhere in India. My parent live in a small town. Still big but not big enough to have a call center.

I live in a town w only about 20K people, idk how small of a place they live in. The closest "big" city (500K) in the area is about 30 min away and it has alot of em. Maybe its just location. But even the people that stand and greet you at the door of wal-mart make like $7/hr. (it would just suck to stand in one spot for 8 hours a day)

local community college loves educated people who will work part time tutoring or teaching if they are qualified
also online chat tutoring is becoming pretty popular with online university stuff, could check that out if he has any area of specific knowledge
