Default Camping crew V 4 season tent

I am looking at getting a 4 season tent for both backpacking and car camping, so weight is a factor in this decision.

Wondering if anyone has experience with Alpenlite, specifically the Alpenlite 2XT tent in various seasons including snow camping.

For how many people?

If you have an REI around you head there.

i've always wanted a 4 season tent but the prices just scare me, i still use my regular wall tent and a really good sleeping bag when i camp in the snow. it's not that effective at -20 h:

2 person and REI is way overpriced for what you get. They do have some nice stuff but I try to limit my purchases from them as a last choice.

been tempted a couple times but i just don't do enough cold weather camping and the little i do is long term enough that i use a canvas wall tent and have a wood stove inside it anyways

meh...

Looking for one with full clip instead of the sleeve design. In wind and dark they are a lot easier to put up and tear down. Also a vestibule is a big plus.
