How much drinking is too much?

We are talking years of continued behavior. I used to bartend so I saw it all from the raging alcoholic to the closet drinker who thought they didn't have a problem at all.
Once you are around it all the time the behaviors are pretty easy to pick out, you can even pick out who goes home and beats their wife and who goes home and gets bet by their wife.

i'm not unfamiliar w/ the situation myself
been ordered twice to NA and AA and most of my friends are in their 30s-40s w/ drinking problems
there are only very few that get by without creating problems for themselves and don't affect others....they all eventually get depress and their actions will show for it
btw...imho...it's much easier to get by if you have the white lady habit than alcohol...
