I should have written about NWS or 56k beware or rant about politics or maybe put "so I went to buy some bags of milk" like dozens of other identical threads in which each creator thinks he's hilarious or a genius.

If you lock this since I have to use my name which I can't at the house I live out, anyone please PM Labarinth and he'll check the replies for me.

Also... this isn't direct at you John... so no personal attacks here. It's just rediculous at the pointlessness of this all. Still love. Just frustration.
OK I just wanted to put it out there is all.

So hey about my questions...is it a lowrider or something not seeing any real use except transportation or what? Light truck, 1/2 ton???what are we dealing with here?

By order of what I would by

NITTO NT450 "EXTREME PER." "M + S" 96V

KUMHO SOLUS KH16 98Hl

SUMITOMO HTR H4 96H

Of the choices you gave, although the Sumitomo actually probably has the better sidewall and tread pattern and do better in rain and bad weather. If this is a street truck which I am assuming it is then the other two would be more visually appealing and a smoother ride.

Cool. It's my lil Chevy S-10. I bought it lowered 3 inches and that's the way I left it. Not on bags or anything but it has aftermarket hardware to make it a smooth enough ride. I use it to drive to work, and the most weight it ever had in it was the snow that accumulated in December.

It sucks in the smallest bit of snow... but I guess that is to be anticipated. I live in Baltimore now so snow isn't a big issue.

Thanks for the warning bud. Check your PM for a reply. Or hit me on AIM, or Yahoo... or maybe even MSN for that fact. I'm pretty sure you've had my info for about 8+ years now.

Kinda late, but I would pass on the Nitto 450's. Probably the worst tire they made when they first came onto the "import scene". I had sidewalls "bubble" on me when I had them on my car.

I would probably steer clear of the 502's. Nothing wrong with Falkens, I like them personally, but I had the impression that they were no longer in production, so this might be really old stock (replaced by the Ziex 512's). Ironically this is what I used to replace the 450's that I had on my car.

No personal experience with the Kumho's or the Sumi's, but you could probably get enough user reviews from Tirerack.com to see which of those two would be better.

Sumitomo HTR Z III. I have them on my Mazdaspeed 6 in 235/40-18.

They will make your S-10 stick to the ground a lot. They will not work in the snow. I have Blizzaks for that.

Hope this has been useful.
