Ill be paying 4729 fed and 1514 state. Couple of things working against us this year. The biggest thing is my wife settled about 24k of debt, and the rest is because my wife is a Nanny, and her employer doesnt take out for fed tax. Luckily I get a yearly bonus check from work that gets raped when its taxed 45%, so this number could be alot worse. We still came out way ahead on the debt so im ok with this

If I had the extra money throughout the year, I'd spend it on beer and junk food. If it comes all in one lump sum, it goes into savings. h:

The wife and I are only getting just under $900 back. Not nearly as much as last year but it'll help nonetheless. :happysad:

Getting a return for the first time in a long time, due to the first time homebuyers tax credit

OTOH, I cant e-file the federal because I need to send in a copy of the closing settlement :happysad:

That being said, how long will it take to get my money, if I elect to get the refund electronically transferred to me ?
