Not yet on the job hunt. I'm only getting them for snowboarding.

yeah I too only wear contacts when i feel my glasses could get damaged or when they would be annoying. That's why i take daily disposibles, carry a couple of pairs with me and if i lose them I dont care.

just got off the phone with the ceo ... basically is letting me make the decision to move on without trying to make me decided to stay. thanked me for all the work i've done for the company and said that if i ever wanted to come back that he would do whatever he could to find me somewhere to work in the company.

i really didnt expect even that from him, i just wanted to thank him for every opportunity he's given me to learn with the company and make sure he knew that i had no bad feelings towards him or the company as a whole and that i would really miss both.

considering the fact that this is now a no risk opportunity for me to expand ... i'd say i did the right thing

and these people for the most part are like family, even if i'm not happy about somethings currently. overall, the last 8 years i've learned so much and had my hands on a lot of projects that let me make a ton of contacts in the industry and given me some great experience for future jobs. should i want to come back i know i would be more than welcome and thats huge
