fuck today

srsly, worst wed in a while :hs:

get to the office bout 630, boot up and BAM! email no worky, browser is hijacked and program telling me i have all kinds of viruses.

great malware

so i fixed the hijacked browser issue and email now just trying to get all the files off my system. apparently it's been going around the network here the last week. 3 other people got hit with something. sooo pissed

Yeah, nothing worse than having stupid users in your office... their virus tends to become yours. The joys of being IT Security is hearing them complain that a program says they have 1231 new viruses... no they have 1 piece of malware.

 

yea worst part is, there's a good chance the initial infected computer never got fixed if i'm the third person this week to get hit so there's always a chance i could get slammed again

i wouldnt be too worried about it today except i'm trying to run a web conference for about 300 people this morning and trying to eliminate malware and do that at the same time doesnt work too well

 

tired... i need to get back into this. Ever since December i've been feeling wierd... I've had a shit load of fun but still i feel like I'm missing something. I dont know what it is.

 

called out again and my mom calls last night to say they're coming to nyc for 10 daysat least i'll get free grocery's for a few daysh:

Not too bad of a morning. The dog kept quiet all night, so sleep was good. Its in the 50's already and Im in training all day at work, so Im not gonna have to do shit.

 

ugly day outside, foggy and traffic has been worse due to some street closings. Bright side is, it is the middle of the work week and this weekend should be nice. Saints game on Sunday

 

Working, which is the story of my life. Played MW2 last night with my roommate. I hate alternating but it sure beats watching "girlie" television shows with her. Not to mention she isn't so bad.
