ah but assuming none of the whalers are dutch, odds are they won't show. a lawyer for the group probably will but i bet the whalers never show. why should they? the dutch court has no legal standing over a group of japanese sailors in international waters.

I suppose you are right.

I wonder if the lawyer for the Japanese will reverse the piracy charges since it is well documentwd the sea shepard crew have boarded their ships multiple times and caused damage to their ships and harvest unprovoked. Would be an interesting turn of events :chuckles:

i would if it was me

they wanna bring the courts in then bring it all in. point out all the times the sea shepard group has thrown acid onto decks, attempted to disable the whalers ships and purposely boarded them ... if anything it makes an awfully strong defense argument for why the whalers didnt budge against the oncoming sea shepard vessel
