Last paycheck
So I quit my company on 25th and have yet to get my last paycheck. In california it is a law that you must get all your pay (including vacation hours and regular pay up to last day) on your last day. I gave 2 month notice btw. Since I still haven't gotten it, should I hire a lawyer? Is it worth it?
Update: I guess I will get my last check tomorrow (they are overnighting it over to me). Guess they got scared when I wrote them about hiring lawyer.
I was shocked to learn that from my vacation hours, I only got 57% out of gross I had. 43% was taken out between all the medical bullshit and government tax. I am working for cash from now on.

If you quit on the 25th, why would they pay you on the 23rd? I'd think you'd get it today meaning mailed today. You said you called but didn't mention how the conversation went. What'd they say?
If the employee voluntarily quits, and provides at least 72 hours notice, their final paycheck is due on their last day of work. If the employee voluntarily quits and provides less than 72 hours notice, the final paycheck is due not later than 72 hours after notice is provided. Additionally, the employee can request that their final paycheck be mailed to them, and the mailing must occur within the 72 hour period. (Labor Code § 202.)

But it's probably not worth getting a lawyer. If it doesn't show up by Thursday, call the office.
