Opera and Bolt are great alternatives to RIM's browser as well, just to throw it out there.
lol at iphone being status. My 11 year old neighbor has one, must be a huge ballin ass 8th grader with mass status. Black Berry sucks unless it is for business, Iphone kicks its ass for normal users.

having owned both a bb curve and an iphone, I whole heartedly disagree. The iphone's ease of use and functionality are way better in just about every aspect.

I had three Windows Mobile phones and then got an iPhone 3GS. Browsing on BlackBerry is pretty much the worst of any smartphone OS out there, with the stock browser or otherwise. Yeah the UI is cleaner on BlackBerry but for browsing it blows, and I do a lot of mobile browsing. For that purpose, my preference is iPhone > webOS > Android = WinMo (with some tweaks) > BlackBerry

I have a BlackBerry. Mike makes a good point about a terrible browsing experience but I like it. I am currently using a loaner Bold from a friend of mine, but considering an iPhone when eligible in January.
