BB here, probably going to get another one when this one is done. iPhone is for status imho. I use my bb to read e-mail go on websites when not at home... etc. no phone is ever going to replace a computer for me, so why all the snazzy need.
Opera and Bolt are great alternatives to RIM's browser as well, just to throw it out there.

I had three Windows Mobile phones and then got an iPhone 3GS. Browsing on BlackBerry is pretty much the worst of any smartphone OS out there, with the stock browser or otherwise. Yeah the UI is cleaner on BlackBerry but for browsing it blows, and I do a lot of mobile browsing. For that purpose, my preference is iPhone > webOS > Android = WinMo (with some tweaks) > BlackBerry

I have a BlackBerry. Mike makes a good point about a terrible browsing experience but I like it. I am currently using a loaner Bold from a friend of mine, but considering an iPhone when eligible in January.
