I love MSG. I know it got a bad rap in the past with all those asian resturant problems and now it seems to be all the rage to hate on the stuff. But damn it tastes good.

Sazon Goya, fake bacon bits, soy sauce, I just love the stuff.


Eating a batch of rice and beans with a packet of sazon goya right now... thought I'd get that off my chest

wtf is sazon goya? is that some whiteboy stuff trying to be asian? like how taco bell is whiteboy version mexican food?

It's a latin seasoning line by goya, I think they're mostly all a mix of various seasonings, salt, MSG and color agents.

I usually use it in heavy protein dishes like beans or chicken or with rice.

i had no idea it had msg in it. i love the stuff, turns my fingers orange though.

yeah, it's the first ingredient in at least the culantro y achiote/ coriander and annatto sazon :rofl:

I guess they want to get me hooked.. and they did.


I think the most MSG a European/American diet allows for is if you use gravy master (read spiced, very dense soy sauce) for their turkey... using which I pretty much turned our thanksgiving gravy into a delicious mess with
