I've always had good luck with Timberlands, especially the ones with Gortex lining.

I have a pair of Timberlands but they are too cold... Paid 150$ and i only wore them like 2 times

def keeping up to date on this thread.

My only requirement for boots is they must be waterproof and easy to get on/off. None of those trillion laces.

there is a company i used to work with that sells boots of all kinds, makes and models but i am having trouble remembering their name. will post it later when i get home if i can find it.

I wear mine through the winter most of the time my feet are too warm. I go through winter just wearing my slides when it's dry out.

Clarks makes a really good boot for US$50-70 on sale. No laces, its like a slip-on waterproof boot. My ankles are a little small though so it felt funny :/
