So has anyone taken part in their "trade in" program?

I really need a smaller laptop and I've owned my current one for less than 2 years. Online estimate was around 202.00, but I'm sure I would get less than that once I took it to the store.

Wondering if it would be worth the trouble..

Mines only worth 150... though they don't take the video card into account. If I buy a new battery this thing's going to be prime for another 2 years--- regardless I think anything that getting more than $200 on that thing should still be a decent computer.

I just realized that I have been running win XP pro for 2 years straight without formatting h: I wonder how much faster it'd feel if I restarted

I'm not sure if your location can do in-store trade ins, but I've used their online trade in program where I've mailed my items.

I've traded in some games as well as a cell phone and other items. I've gotten full value for the estimate that I was given which was good (answer them to the best of your ability, and it shouldn't be a problem as to how much the gift card would be).

The shipping label is free to print, but make sure that you pack the items well and send them off via UPS. Only drawback that I saw was that it took about a month total from when I mailed the items to when I got the gift card.

in store is only for certain items that were bought at a store, you are better off doing online

Yeah I think the closest location that participates is about 40 miles away. Someone at the store said that its better to do it online; however, I'm not to keen on mailing my laptop in.
