I wanted to do that here but didn't want to have to deal with the maintenance and setup
. Plus, after licensing, software and servers, it's pretty much all the same cost. The benefit of having normal workstations is in the even that the server goes down, you can revert to a local user on the pc instead of having the server as the single point of failure.
