Lining up at midnight, at walmart........
“There are families not eating at the end of the month,” said Stephen Quinn, executive vice president and chief marketing officer at Wal-Mart Stores, and “literally lining up at midnight” at Wal-Mart stores waiting to buy food when paychecks or government checks land in their accounts.
This is pretty crazy. I didn't know that it was getting this crazy out there...

I havent seen this, but it isnt that hard to believe. I use to hear about people skipping a meal because theres no money and just kinda shrug it off...but I've experienced this a few years ago talking to one of my students. It is pretty sad actually when meals arent guaranteed. On the brighter side, there are a lot of resources that can help cope with that...people just need to find them.
