Melting Pot is perfect for chicks/dates. I like the food okay (and I've never gotten the runs, having eaten there 3 times), and I found there to be a ton of food so I don't know how you would leave hungry. Dinners take a good amount of time (perfect for a date), the atmosphere is moderately romantic, it's kind of fun to cook your food at your own table and try the different sauces, aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand this is the big one -- your gf wants to try it.
I took my fiancee there for her birthday earlier this year, she loooooooooved it.

Jasmines bday is next weekend and the melting pot we go to is having a 3 year anniversary special of 29.99 a person but that doesn't include desert. For desert it makes it 37 a person. Which is cool with me. I might actually try to use a coupon for desert I have. I know i'll probably come out spending close to $100. Then I figured we'll go into the city somewhere at a lounge for a couple of drinks and finish the night off with some Bday sex

Thanks for the suggestions guise! I am not too worried about finding a non-chain, and she isn't either. I know there are a few good local places to try, but srsly u guise been to Columbus, OH? Not much as far as originality here. Lulz, I may do Melting Pot that seems to be a popular answer, and if I get the shits :dunno: she'll keep herself entertained for several minutes while I TCB... Wouldn't be the first time
