pick them off one at a time and slowly clear out every building. if you don't clear out every building you'll get owned.

I tried staying at the beginning by the dumpsters and doing that. People just kept coming.

I'm pretty much awful at multiplayer. but I finished the game on Hardened. My best kill streak is like 13 :/
