I am planning on renting it. I really want to like the game, but the last modern warfare really left a bad taste in my mouth. I LOVE the solo campaign part of the game, but the online play which is why I buy most games seems lacking to me. I have a couple buddies who have the game and they seem to enjoy it though they don't think it is really worth the hype the game is getting as it is just like every other COD game. One went as far to say it is COD:MW reskinned.

 

yeah, right now my death to kill ratio is about 50/50. I'm working on improving that a little.

I am also a fan of the last stand, but marterdom seems to piss people off.

 

I haven't played a COD since the last World at War, started up campaign mode and I was like WTF WHY IS EVERYTHING HAPPENING SO FAST AND ALL AT ONCE

anyone with the ps3 version able to get online? there is a network issue that is supposedly going on right now. some people can't get online while other people can't party up. a patch is going to be coming out around friday.

A temp fix that I've read is when somebody invites you, do NOT open the message yet. Sign off of PSN and sign back on. Start the game as normal and when you enter the multiplayer screen, click on Friend List and then open the message for the invite that was sent to you.

For the most part, this has worked for me.

 

Don't buy the ps3 version.
