But Dolores and Lolita have become the star attraction at a zoo in Germany despite their bizarre looks.
Both the girls have been left with just a few tufts of fur on their bodies and head, exposing their wrinkly skin underneath.
The spectacled bears originally from South America have begun developing nasty rashes and inflammations on their skin where their glossy coats should be.
Keepers at Leipzig Zoo are puzzled by the sudden hair loss and have written to other zoos around the world asking if they have dealt with a similar problem.
Luckily for Dolores, 15, and Lolita, 11, their baldness is not life threatening.
