drove bout 3 hrs north on saturday to to visit HatchVX in stafford. he was kind enough to do some work on the AP1, i.e. replace my crusty 8yr old soft-top w/ an updated OEM top w/ glass rear. just a handful of pics from my BB Tour:







took about 6 hrs and some fabrication work to get the thing installed properly. the whole thing was done outside in the driveway under a mini-tent/gazebo thing and it was raining like fawk every half hr or so, but it all worked out.

dont have any pics w/ it fully installed cuz the weather's still been like crap and havent had a chance to take a few shots. but its baller and i'm happy

props to HatchVX. great guy, great service, would do business again A++

 

you are lucky, I am pretty sure he has done them before. I helped do one when I still worked for Honda/Acura and jesus christ titty fuck it was a pain in the ass.

 

hahah, yeah apparently he had done an AP2 top replacement a few weeks earlier so he knew what was goin on. it took longer than we had planned only cuz we were retrofitting some crap. the man was on point

yea patrick knows his way around those tops, he is is always telling me about his working on one s2k or another at the dealership.
