PC wont read my MicroSD card
I just purchased an 8GB PNY MicroSD card so i can put mp3's on my phone. When i plug it into my pc to transfer music it shows up as "Removable Disk (E: )" and when i try to double click to open it i get "Please insert a disk into Removable Disk (E: )" It won't let me open the folder up right away and after a few times of clicking it'll open up the folder but i can't put anything into it. I've never had this issue before when plugging removable hardware to my pc, so i figured there were enough computer nerds here that might have a clue as to why this is happening. Can anybody lend me some helpful tips

I used the card adapter it came with, connected to a card reader. When that didnt work i tried to use the MSD card with the card reader alone and still the same problem. I tested the card reader with a different SD card and it worked just fine.
Format the SD card then try again.
Possibility you got a corrupted card from the factory too, rare but it happens.

I figured out the problem
h: turns out the MSD card is a Micro SDHC card and my card reader doesn't recognize it as a normal sd card. Thanks for the advice though appreciate the fast responses.
