Router Problems
My router has been acting really funny lately. It works fine as long as I am not downloading a lot of files or streaming video. But as soon as I do it craps out and I have to reset it. If I try to stream or download again it craps out within a few minutes. This is very annoying because I have 2-3 computers on the network as well as a xbox 360 and a wii.
If I unhook the router and plug the modem directly into my computer I can download files or stream video just fine so I am pretty confident that I am correct that the router is the problem and not the computer or modem.
Any suggestions? Just buy a new one?
It is a 9 month old Linksys Wireless N router (I have always owned Linksys in the past without a problem).

Here's something about it.
As long as you don't have a bunch of port forwards or something, shouldn't be a huge deal

I tried streaming a DivX video from ninjavideo and my internet went down. I released and renewed my ip and the internet came back...but the firmware update didn't seem to solve the problem.
Any other ideas?

it's weird that it's only streaming and downloading from torrents. Even if I limit the download speed of the torrents to 200kb/s it still happens (I was only downloading 2 torrents or streaming one video)
watching videos from youtube and megaupload don't give me any problems.

Comcast.
And I don't think it's my router anymore because it just happened again when I was going straight from the modem into my computer. That wasn't happening before for whatever reason...but at least I know it's not the router any more.
