Wow... most posts seem to actually agree with you in the fact that it is a poor idea. But since they also dis-like fox news at the same time it is bullshit and near sighted?

Government telling people what news outlets to listen to is like a news outlet telling people what government organization to listen to - wrong. Doesn't make Fox News an agency I enjoy.

 

i believe his comment of bullshit was in regards to the hate towards fox news ... as most who hate it seem to think its unfairly biased towards conservative views when most research shows its quite balanced, just as balanced as the rest of the cable news networks

ahhh, if so - my apologies, because I haven't seen anyone on this thread bash on FoxNews for being pro-conservative yet. I dis-like it mostly because of the people on it, and some of the content. But I can see what he'd be getting at if that was the case. Hating on something even if it was proven not to be true.

 

i could say the same about alot of the opinion programs on cnn and msnbc

i find fox news and cnn to be the two better stations for reporting news stories. as for opinion type shows on either ... i dont watch them. i dont really care for the grandstanding style of talk shows like whats on most major news networks these days

 

i think the whitehouse should ban foxnews... like revoke their license.
